- AICC compliance, improved SCORM compatibility.
Both AICC and SCORM standards provide course content compliance with web-based learning requirements, facilitating proper communication between course content and the LMS. JoomLMS is now both AICC and SCORM compliant which makes your courses accessible, interoperable and reusable.
- Joomla! 3.2 compatibility fixes.
JoomLMS is now compatible with the latest Joomla! version. It means that now you have access to the latest Joomla! CMS features, improved security and more. Please note that Joomla! 3.2 version (as well as JoomLMS 1.3.2) requires PHP 5.3 for running. Use our installation helper (provided together with JoomLMS) to check your server compatibility.
- PHP 5.5 compatibility.
JoomLMS is built for PHP and MySQL based Joomla! CMS. A new JoomLMS version supports PHP 5.5 which is more efficient than older versions: users get faster server response while you need less hosting resources to run the system. Also, in order to speed up our development processes we will stop maintaining compatibility with old versions of PHP/Joomla!, please check out JoomLMS requirements and Joomla compatibility on our blog.
- IE10/11 compatibility fixes.
This release addresses several critical IE compatibility issues. Now you can be sure that your eLearning courses look the way they are supposed to, no matter what browser your learners use.
- SQL optimizations.
Accomplished SQL optimizations were aimed at improving your website performance.
- Community Builder integration fixes.
JoomLMS is now compatible with the latest version of Community builder. Nothing is in the way of building a great learning community!
- SMF forum integration fixes.
In the new version we fixed SMF forum integration issues to make sure you don't experience any problems communicating with students.

- Joomla! 3.3 compatibility.
We are already testing our system on Joomla! CMS 3.3. We are planning to address Joomla! 3.3 compatibility issues till the end of May.
- Mobile application and mobile devices compatibility improvements.
Application for iOS/Android that will allow students to easily overview their recent learning activities (check grades, messages, certificates), be notified of upcoming events/announcements, view and download course documents.
Responsive template will make it more convenient to use JoomLMS functionality on mobile devices.
- New conferencing capabilities.
We are reworking our conferencing module. Updated tool will bring scheduling capabilities, integration with modern conferencing solutions such as GoToMeeting, WebEx.
